Bloggers…SMH
Did I get your attention?…lol…sometimes I try to be like a real blogger. It wasn’t long ago when I finally asked my daughter what ‘SMH’ meant (I don’t text if I can avoid it.) Continue reading

On behalf of myself and my fellow veterans, I want to say how appreciative we are that our service is recognized favorably. There have been times in our nation’s history when this was not the case as a general rule. It is a good environment to be a veteran nowadays.
On Memorial Day weekend, everyone is thanking veterans…commercials on TV thank veterans…church services thank veterans. Continue reading
The last few years has seen a gathering happen. Not the Highlander kinda gathering but…well, maybe kinda…lol
Thanks to facebook, I have come back into contact with Marines that I served with years ago. We had our first ‘reunion’ in the Fall of 2013. I think six of us got together with a few wives n attendance. We will be having another one next month. I think a couple of dozen have RSVP’d. Continue reading
The scene is set. Mid April, 1775. The British had been routed at Lexington and Concord by colonial militia. Giving glory to God as you go through them is what makes them blessings. Continue reading
Ok, in part one, we covered what is generally covered regarding Joseph in the Christmas story. If you read between the lines though, you can piece together some really interesting stuff.
When reading about a particular event in scripture, I try to put myself right in middle of the event. If I can do this, I can more imagine why so-and-so said this…or why would so-and-so react like that? Continue reading
Hebrews 11 is what is referred to as the ‘Hall of Faith’. To be sure, it is a great list and even comes with a disclaimer that it is not an ‘all-inclusive’ list. I would like to make a nomination to be added to the ‘Hall of Faith’. Continue reading
Kori Yates…she’s an adventurer. She’s not the Romancing the Stone kinda adventurer, but she is definitely an adventurer. Adventures are a subjective thing. Me? An adventure might be going to Walmart in the middle of the night. Continue reading
